<p>Thanks to those that posted on my wall. On Sunday I was admitted to the hospital through the Emergency Room with an inflamed appendix. It was removed yesterday. And I was discharged today. But Am not really coherent of pain free. Just wanted you to know am I alive and will be back in a normal rhythymn in a day or so. Hugs Thomas xxooxxoo</p>

had mine out years ago. I went into emergency and while waiting for surgery it ruptured. I have never known pain like that. It was also slightly gangrenous eewww, hope you are feeling better soon and on the mend Tolead.-Brillo

Jake...below the navel and to the right..but the to punctures are at the navel and to the right...the 1 inch incision they used pull the appendix out of it to the left...and right now it is a pretty shade of black and blue...with some reddish highlights...not very attractive at all.

Thomas, I feel your pain. Well, sort of, I had hernia repair surgery a few months ago. They didn't do laproscopic, so no CO2 for me, but the anesthesia caused constipation (as predicted). The surgery was pain free but that constipation was a living hell. I was so happy when things final let loose! I hope that your gas finds it's way out of you ASAP!

Thanks for all the kind words. As @usainindia mentioned, it was a laprocsopic appendectomy. So the incisions are much smaller and should heal more quickly. The downside this kind of procedure is that the pump you full of CO2 to create room to work. So if you have ever suffered from trapped gas looking for a way to escape, I swear that pain is worse than the incision. And drugs do not do anything for that. Just need to wait until it finds it way out and since it isn't in the intestine if take a couple of days...only time I have been encouraged to fart my way to better health.
