<p>How many of you have come out to friends or pearents and was it positive my coming out was great but far to late should have done that over 25 years ago</p>

I came out as a gay man years ago to my familly, at work and to my friends... but it was a bit awkward later on when I told them I fell in love with a girl... Many people, gay and straight, don’t understand you can be attracted to both sexes and drive your life on a two way street! I must admit I’d rather have a much simpler life... Hugzzz xxooxx - Rob

I think the coming out is an individual choice no? It isn't right for everyone. but if you can, it takes a lot off your shoulders I think

Better late than never. Tolead's comment about no one being out except drag queens reminds me that I wanted, but did not have an image of what a gay man was, if such a general image could exist, or could be, except the drag queen image, and I did not relate to that image. I think having public images that one can identify with is important. In that respect, people are better off today.

I first came out to a good friend of mine, and he was really cool with it. When it came time to tell my parents and my sisters they were all cool with it. I did have a little help from my younger sister who broke the news to my parents which made easier for me to come out to them.

my family and friends are all cool with it.

Im sure this site has seen many guys come out in its history and if we can help in any way thats great.For those closet guys out there please talk to close friends and if its too hard in yr real life there are many here willing to help you get through the Anxiety of it.STAND TALL and share who you are because your life will get so much better !!

second one Davey. i didnt see it as a big deal and neither did they and they still dont particularly lol. awww thanks Davey. am not saying coming out is always this easy. its down to the individual at the end of the day. he comes out when he is ready to come out.

I grew up in a time when no one was out, except perhaps drag queens. But I have been out since is was 29. And never an issues with friends. My parents visited all the places we lived. Only had one bed, but no one ever said anything. Had the conversation with them when I was 42. And my Mom said, we always knew. Kind of pissed me off that they hadn't really encouraged a conversation. But I think a lot of that has to with the generation they grew up in. Never was an issue about the partner, accepted him as my other half. Just didn't acknowledge anything until I forced the conversation. That' not to say haven't seen some collateral issues with friend from high school...but then we hadn't been close since then. Not been a really big deal in my life.

I guess you can see that two ways Jerry either he didnt want to dicuss it or He didnt see it as a big deal and was fine with it .So proud of both of you guys .I hope this blog gives some hope to guys in the closet .
