<p>I had a friend he cut his rists wanted to kill him self i cryed buckets of water ok he is alive and help came but why did it come to this and we have to help them.Thay get under pressure from bullyes or a love problem but please dont look away help them</p>

I have tried to kill myself 4 or 5 times now and i'm still here, that means that I have a reason to be here, I still suffer from depression and low self-esteem, I was picked on in school and it just made it worse, but I slowly worked my way through it. They one problem that so many people have especially if they are in school, is that they feel that can't talk about what they are feeling and why the bullies targeted them for some reason. What they need is someone they can talk with that won't go running to their moms and dads, i'm sure that is one of the problems, because they are scared it will get back to them. Talking does help, please believe me, I am 36 now and I have been dealing with depression and low self-esteem since I was about 15. I was on meds at one point but i'm off them now because I have learned to talk with someone when I really feel down and thinking about hurting myself. That feeling never really goes away, but you CAN LEARN to control it and to stuff it back in the box it came out of and work towards something better, whether it is that day or that week. If you have more than one friend in middle or high school you are bound to know someone who thinks about or tried to commit suicide. It always hurts. A friend of a friend,this girl who was pretty cool actually was found hanging. We were all shocked.

people need to reach out and talk and seek help

I'm glad johnnybegood you are getting help and remember you have friends here who care about you. people get low for a lot of reasons..the worst thing you can do is sit alone in your room and dwell on them .....find some one to give a hug to and talk we all have ups and downs....it will get better IF you give it a chance. hugz paparon xoxo
