I closed my previous account on here (DD80) having had loads of anxiety over being a gay single parent, in the closet. Having done this i felt worse and thought hard'

Yesterday i CAME OUT to my son and his girlfriend and it went unbeilably well, i feel so great and like a big load has been lifted of my shoulders. Proud of myself and very proud of my son who has absoloutly no problem with any of it.

Thanks for many of you on here that give out great advise on the blog. THANKS XX

coming out is a wonderful thing to do. of course, not everyone can come out easily for fear of the reception they may get, but once u have then everything becomes easier. i think the initial reaction is one of shock but they get over it. am so glad i came out to everyone. i am gay 100% and proud of it.

I think i remember you as DD80 but im not sure haha .See all that worry about yr Son and hes fine with it.I hope otheres in the same situation draw some strength from this.Even if its friends,parents,Uncles,Aunties ,Siblings or even Neighbours.Youll feel amazing afterwards.
