If you dont want to be seen in yr neighbourhood why not try visiting a place near by to look for guys.IT MAY NOT SOUND LIKE MUCH HELP BUT we have to get out an about to meet guys i think,Sometimes the Internet just doesnt work .

I think that our generation is changing right now and I think that it is a little less difficult for us to openly find someone now than it was way back 40 years ago. With the help of my close friends, I am now making new friends (gay) in the open and one may actually become my mate.
I know what you are saying about wanting to find a boyfriend or partner or whatever. I just turned 21 a few months ago and only had real sex with another guy 5 months ago. He is 2 years older than me and I am luck that he is so kind and gentle to me while having sex. But he is not interested in a relationship other than sexual encounters. He approached me after seeing me in the shower at the gym. Unfortunately he is not interested in being a boyfriend to anyone.
So you could do what I am doing in the boyfriend search, and that is to become involved in some group that interests you. and be with people your own age and make some close friends.
Find a few close friends who you can trust with your 'secret'. A few close friends can support you and help you, so you do not have to completely sneak around about finding your new boyfriend. it is working for me to find other guys who would be interested in me.
Also, food for thought on peeking out of the closet a little: Tell your parents both that you love them. tell them often if you do not already. They probably already know about you so it will be important for them to know how much you love them and that you care for them. When I told my Mom she said she already knew. she told me that 'Moms usually do know and Dads do too, but usually deny it to themselves'.

Davey makes a good point about the interwebs being a good place to meet gentlemen callers. If you find GBT to be an appropriate place to meet guys, spice up your profile with some details about yourself. Do not give everything away, who doesn't love a good mystery? This site doesn't offer a means of searching for users in your area. Perhaps you can post a blog about your general area, or try another site like gay.net (I feel like this is slightly blasphemous to say.) While the internet is a convenient, stealthy way to meet gentlemen callers, always be cautious and play it safe. Another way to meet some gays is to make friends with them. Being friends with someone who is gay doesn't make you gay, it makes you open minded. Also, even if you're not attracted to this specific gay guy, wouldn't it be nice to have a confidant who may know guys that interest you? Just make sure you can trust them with your little secret. To be Honest yr Page Suxs.Sorry to be Honest but i would suggest Writing a good profile but you dont have to give personal details in it......,just say what you like and a bit ,about yrself.
There could be someone on here that lives close to you. Having a good looking page is a good start to finding someone. Im sure many guys here,have found a guy while still in the closet to family or friends.
