Upset about posting videos?

Don't be. I was at another site before this and people used to bitch and moan about posed videos never showing up. They got all pissed off, threatened to leave, stormed around, posting to blogs, etc. Finally the admin guy told people he appreciated their hard work whether it showed up or not and that a lot of times he needed to make a decision whether he was violating copyrights, posting underage material, or reposting a vid that already appears 17 times on the site. After he said that, everyone just mellowed out and posted without making a federal case out of it. You guys that post vids regularly really do a nice job, but so does Nick.

Yeah, rontootsy and thanks for the nice and "things to think about" words... I found after 10 days brake from here (GBT) what's my role here... And that's posting videos and pictures, not starting blogs anymore. Some comments are allowed for me (by myself of course) sometimes and here' s one of the first ones... Better this way! :) Toni

Thanks for the earlier comments in my blogs, sad situation is that they've been removed by administarion. Don't know why... I think it was my last blog I ever never start here, it's better
and safer to be only as "background viewer". More and more different opinions from members and finally the blog's idea is totally different if you compare it to the first days... Maybe that happened also here, I don't know because I wasn't here...

Haha, now I know what you mean. I don't mean post videos on my profile or wall, I mean post them in the videos section. Those I think you can't do unless you download them first.

sorry, you have to copy the link directly from youtube and you can ad the videos like pics. you must ad the link in one of your boxes when you edit your profile.

i have only the german page, but i think it's the same. under the video you find a line info/share/ad - you have to take share and another line opens, share/embed/e-mail/hangout - click on embed and a box opens with the link to copy.

Ok, I go to videos, I see the red box for Upload, I click that and then there's only a line or Upload with a box that takes me on to my harddrive. Where is this share thing?

you only need the embed code, same like pictures. go to share and embed and copy the code.

Speaking of uploading, I have one from youtube I want to put up. Do I have to download it first in order to upload it or is there a way to use the embedding thing.

You might see it as Bitching and Moaning but i still stand by there right to Vent there
frustration in these Blogs. Because i dont upload vids i dont really know how these
guys truely fell . But i can Sympathize with them because i know how much some guys
put into uploading and there the guys who should have there concerns addressed.
You make some good points tho Joel and I do see the point yr trying to make here.
