after reading about all these stories on teen suicide, i just wanna say that kids or anyone for that matter who take their own lives are the kost selfish people. your sad cause life sucks? grow some balls! there are millions of people with.diseases or cancer who would.give anything for extra days to live, and these pussies give up.theirs?? not cool...

As people keep saying depression is a illness not made up.If your that clever on teens and advice them to need to get balls,take it your at least someone with at least a good exam result in biology(understanding how the brain works) Im 100% sure that if a teen had cancer least they have hope with treament,but sadly drepression if it that bad they cant see a cure and only see death as a cure .Thats how they feel but the good things is there load off help out there and you can get better.

We lost Someone reasontly and Nearly lost Another ,so we should always support anyone who
has these thoughts of living no more. To say there a Pussy and Just grow some Balls may
seem ok to some,BUT I think that its better to offer them Advice to Seek Help from a Professional.
He/She can give them long term support . Even if its just taking Anti-Depressents to help them get thro the Day. And in ,a more serious Case ,ongoing Counciling.

if you told a suicidal teen to stop being a pussy and grow some balls you will for sure push them over the edge, teens who want to end their lives are depressed not all but the majority and having real emotional problems that as teens find it harder to deal with, being gay, being bullied, abuse, physical, sexual or emotional .. add depression in to the mix and you have a suicide waiting to happen .......Suicide is the third-leading cause of death for 15- to 24-year-olds after accidents and homicide. It's also thought that at least 25 attempts are made for every completed teen suicide... is not as simple as " your sad cause life sucks" as you bluntly put it put it ... i personally think its you that should grow a set and show some understanding to a problem that happening all around us ............. guys if anyone is feeling as if you have nowhere to turn, thinking that this is it, it will never get better that your life now will always be as it is .. i tell you it wont, things do get better, but you need to open up a little and speak to someone, anyone.....

This blog was brought to my attention by a fellow GBT brother and it disgusted me to read it! While the blogger and I are both older guys, I obviously am the only one of the two of us that understands that, unfortunately, suicide us the only way out if the pressure, stress, and percieved negative vibe that comes from being a gay youth. I never experienced it but I know what it was like to be bullied because I had a bully in Jr. HIGH b/c I was small and nerdy, but that is beside the point. Anyway, that is my input and yo recap, while it is easier for today's youth to exoress themselves and come out earlier than it was evrn 10 years ago, it is still not easy for some to deal due to the generation before them (i.e. parents) still have negative connotations of homosexuality. Let's support our kids, and all people, and not shun them for who they are!!!!!!!

I only read some of it, but you say teens need to grow up when it's pedophiles and others like yourself who cause them to commit suicide in the first place. It's called second degree murder. If you don't know the people who have and are suicidal, then it's best just to bite your tongue.

where as i can understand your initial reactions to this, i think you fail to realize these are children, who do not not yet have the wisdom to cope with problems the way we have come to know with age. just yesterday..in a suburb of tulsa, okla another 15yo boy shoot himself in the school bathroom. every time i see these stories i remember the same thoughts i had when i was that age! i could have done the same easily..but, i'm still here. not everyone is so lucky as i was.
and where as i believe suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem and it angers me when i see these stories..i can only hope these poor kids have not lived and died in vein.
we have to come together to help these kids man. not chastise them!! good grief

Sorry to be blunt but you don't have a clue about what you are talking about. Suicide is caused by acute depression which is an illness the same as any other. It is not a gay thing. My sister had to nurse my mum when she was little through 2 years before she died of cancer. My Dad counld not do it as he was crippled during the war. My sister was the only female in the house and there was no money for nurse care. My sister was 14-16 years old at the time. My mum died trying to get out of bed onto a camode (Toilet) in the night when her leg broke owing to the cancer, in great pain. My sister as a result suffered from Acute depression and was sectioned when she tried to commit suicide. She has recovered fairly well but still has bouts of depression. She is a most fantastic person and I love her dearly. Her illness was and is no less serious that my mums was.

Instead of trying the "grow some" route, maybe it would help to understand that suicidal ideation is a sign of untreated depression and that maybe life could be better and problems more easily solved if you went to your doctor and inquired about getting the proper treatment.
