This time of year to lots and lots of guys can be a lonely time . :( A time when some feel no one cares or gives a rip about them. If you can just reach out to one person . A call a note a text . a knock on the persons door. Please do that . Because we all matter . If you can please share with us how U reached out how you made a difference in another persons life. Great blog Russ, yes many people without families and many gay people estranged from their family who will be spending the holidays alone. Misha and I will be doing the Orlando soup and bread line when we get off work tonight.

Rus...thank you for the reminder. It is at this time of year that for many that are LGBTQ, we need the touch of our found family...the one that we have created that supports our lives. Today I will spend time with the youth at our local LGBT center that are referred to as couch surfers...because their families have pushed them away...we will have a meal...sing some carols...and help them to find warm and safe places for the night....and tomorrow, we will open our doors early, so that those that have no place to be, can be with a family of others that care.

Blessed are the children for they seek our approval.

Blessed are the children for they are the twinkle in God's eye.

a very feeling kind of thought..christmas can be a lonely time for many..to those with families have a great time together..to those on their own we are thinking about you and don't get dispirited life will get better..have faith!! luv..Russ

Thanks Rus for Hi lighting such an important subject at this time of year.I will have a quiet Xmas this time due to my circumstances but whats important to me is that the ones i love and all my friends have a great day with whoever they share Xmas with.Thats what makes me happy at this time of year.And i do think about the people who cant have company as well.
