Alan...we all share the sadness you feel. And at the same time, I encourage you to realize that your recent accident is not trivial or to be ignored. So do not, trivialize what happened to you, it too was real and had impact on your life. Know that I love you...as do your friends here...Thomas xxooxxoo

Dear Alan, please dont let this get you too depressed. I know it is a terrible thing but there was nothing you or I or anyone of us could do about it. We can feel the loss and mourn. But we are not Superheroes with superpowers and capes. It is simply not within our power to fly to the rescue. I respect your feelings but also never forget that your injuries are not trivial either. You have suffered a very serious broken bone. I know that it is in your personality to put others before yourself but in this case I am going to tell you NO. You are my friend and there is nothing you can do for those poor children and families. Try to keep your spirits up. You need to stay positive and look at the good things you have in your life to keep on the mend. You have people who care about YOU dont let us down!

Like most all of you I just dont know what to say, I am so very sad today after watching the events unfold yesterday. How could someone do that! I was going to tell you how I am doing but my Injuries seem so trivial so unimportant to what those poor parents are going through. Just know I am fine and I love you all, and say a prayer fo everyone in Newtown Ct.
