Gay Art- someone say it through the flower?
In passing times, life for gay artists was often very dangerous. They need to marry and get some children and lived a "bourgeouse life". But in their soul, they know, that is not possible, to be the nice father on one hand and to dream at night- when wife is lying next to you- about the strong arms of his friends or of other mens. Mostly, they began to write poems, for example, to pronunciate, what they mean, but the mirror of morality shines through. There are lot of stories of gay painters, sculptures, writers, poets, composers, actors and filmmakers, dancers etc. who was married, but in the soul- they know it- they feel gay. And Art was sometimes the only possible way to say that. But what happens, when the wife, the mother, the daughter or more dangerous, the own son, can read in this letters and understand, what he will tell us truly? When the painted man is not the innocent shepherd of arcardia, although he is the men of his dreams? When he writes poems, where he takes the female role and sings about a man? Some commited suicide, but some fight against this false morality- the most life long- and lost, time, power, money, truth, maybe family. Today, for us, this artists are heroes, but we often forget, that they have fight a lot- sometimes against themselves! Well, live your life, write poems, paint, sing, commpose- and say: I am gay and I have the possibility to get famous through art and than I will forget all the tears!
