How many of you are working on Christmas Day? I have to work and am feeling very resentful over it. Now dont take me wrong I am grateful having a job that allows me to go to school and feel guilty complaining when so many people dont have employment my bf is working the early shift and I am working the late one so we wont even get to see each other the entire day and I am feeling very selfish over the way I feel

Maybe lucky but don't work on Xmas either on New Year, maybe celebtare or not. Not so big meaning here...

Kiwi, I do think you have some very very immature ideas about the world and politics in general, I love you, but as a point of order there are two things you should never do. Talk politics and religion amongst friends thats if you want to remain friends. I Have never spoken anything bad about New Zeland and I truly would appreciate if you would return the favor. I have heard a great many negative comments regarding America come from you. May I remind you that an American made this site that you are using.

Damien tell that to the 1000s of family members who lost loved ones on 9/11 I am sure they would appreciate the conspiricy of enriching defence contracts through the lives lost at the World Trade Center and if any country thinks that they are exempt from terroism they are mistaken we could just bury our heads in the sand as the world did before the 2nd world war and the Hitler invasions captures, death camps etc. I wont sit and listen to people bashing my country especially over an issue that I beleive affects the entire world

Yes u r right Andy - its not as if US military activities world wide occur for the SOLE purpose of enriching defence contractors is it? no its all bout defence of freedom haha! for ages before America invaded afganistan i used to lie awake at nite terrifie=d bout imminent invasion of NZ by rampaging teleban lunatics :P - and 45 seconds after America pulls out of Afganistan u can bet these pesky warmongering cheeky Teleban blokes will have wellington new zealan in their sites :P

My heart goes out to all our troops world wide who work 24/7 every day of the year. Without them - we wouldn't have the freedom to complain about working. Sorry for those working any holiday. Been there, done that and bought the t-shirt. I remember 2 years ago at christmas when I though I heard Santa whiz by my head at super sonic speed - Nope wasn't Santa, just Taliban taking a CLOSE shot.
