Friends Requests With Blind Links

I've got around 6 or 7 Friends Requests waiting for me to accept or reject with a blank avatar and no member's name on them. When I click on the avatar to open the member's page I get a 404 Not Found page with the message "The file you have requested was not found on this server." I can't find a way of getting rid of these requests, if I click accept I get the message "Verification error! Click here to go back." If I click reject I get "You have rejected this person! Click here to go back." Either way, the request is still there on the list. So, two questions: 1) How can I get rid of them? 2) Is it possible these might be spams or malware? I'm not getting any malware alerts showing up and I'm well protected against viruses and spyware.
Has anyone else experienced this and can anyone help or offer advice?

vladzark is right....just click on 'accept all requests' and they will get deleted.

and i never had probs with viruses or spam, nick keeps this site pretty much clean

ya i have had one on for months i just ignore it, wont open any that have no name under the avatar.

One way to get rid of them is accept or reject all your "live" requests until just the "dead" ones are left. Then if you click on the "accept all" button at the top of the page, they go away. Don't where they go, but they go away.

I had the same problem.. the requester's account had been deleted before I could click on either the Accept or Reject button. Couldn't get rid of it for a month, but one day I tried clicking on Accept and the request suddenly vanished. No idea why it took a month, but it was finally gone.

yip had a blank request on my page for months..u just can't get rid..so i just ignore it (Requests 1) if i get requests 2 or more then i check them out!!
