Question ( Its not porn related so I hope I dont get into trouble but you seem like an intelligent bunch) Whats all the hoopla about WINDOWS 8? Does anyone have it? Does anyone like it or dfislike it? Should I rush out and get it? I made the mistake of buying windows 2000 when it first came out, boy was that a colossal turd. I could use some honest opinions. If I am allowed to ask non- controversial questions

I thank you. I have windows 7 right now and am having ZERO problems, but you know microsoft. Somehow they always sneek an update into the system that causes unexpected issues. I just hate this planned obsolessence.

Windows 7 is rock solid ... been using it now for some time. Tested Windows 8
and not impressed with it as a desktop O/S .. it's cool for phone or tablet, but
I'd stick with Win 7 for my home PC.

I agree with JP. Sound advise - not suited well for laptops or tower units. Just a bunch of tech hype. With Apple makeing such a splash. Anxious users arelooking for the next BIG THING. Windows '8'isn't it.
