Sometimes its difficult to tell...

You know I am fairly new here and I find that sometimes its difficult to tell when someone is being real with me or just being scarcastic with me. As you know typewritten words are just words, the reader must fill in the emotion behind them. As an older fellow I have been in many conversations with young fellows who seem to be likeable and friendly and downright nice then later I discover that they are laughing behind my back. I have had people that I told about my granddaughter's rape and murder later make jokes about it or my wife. Which is why I am not easily trusting. You might find me asking you "what do you mean by that?'

It seems that once you get to be my age many think you should just lay down and die or go someplace and make way for the youngins to play. Well I'm here to tell you they are going to have to drag me kicking and screaming into that hole in the ground. Till the that day aint no peach fuzzed little flat belly gonna tell me what to do or where I belong. If I go off on you and you dont understand why It may be that I took what you said the wrong way, if so I apologize in advance. If you meant to offend me then kiss my ass in advance.

haggis is a sheeps stomach filled with what can be called meat...it's usually the waste from the slaughtered beast, then we fill it up with oats and barley to produce a very satisafactory and fullfilling meal for 3 or 10. I can eat a WHOLE haggis in 1 sitting. Yes Jed it is a delicacy in these parts....many an American tourist will pay heavily for the delight, only to throw it up over the carpet later.
