Obsession with Youth

I feel as if i am obsessed with youth due to essentially missing my childhood, being incredibly shy, wounded & confused about my sexuality as a kid, plus having OCD. Essentially, I missed out, by not experiencing anything close to sex until I was 30 or so. It feels like an unquenchable desire & unhealthy. Do any others on this site relate to some of my comments.

I kept to myself in high school because I lived in a small town in the Southern US. Gay people have never been very accepted and to come out would have been a death sentence. So I missed out on somethings to. But I have put that all in the past. All we can do is live for the moment and for the good times that are yet to come. We cannot dwell on a misspent youth or to pine for the things we've missed. It takes too much out of your life to torture yourself on time that has already past. So build a life for today and tomorrow. Yesterday is never coming back.

i can related alot. i was really shy and socially akward. im not obsessed per say but after high school ended i always wished i could do it again. i wanted to experience what it feels like to be popular, have tons of friends and be with someone that loves me. my wish came true... almost :/ read my blog i would appreciate your imput :)
