Today we lost not only people and family members but the innocence of going to the movies. I used to feel like I could go to the movies to escape the real world and all its troubles and worries for a couple of hours. Now my safe place is no longer safe. I truly pray for those who were hurt in this awful event but I also offer my prayers for all of us as we have lost another piece of innocence today.

It is so tragic. Some of you have managed to keep guns away from most people. Here we allow people to get them so easily. It will be so hard for the community. It is close to where the Columbine High School shootings took place. My heart aches for the people involved and the community that they live in.
