Friends Of Billy Vigil (for "BillyBuddy / Pitwhiffer et al)

"BillyB" (or as we call him "Billy3") remains in the hospital at this time, following what we now know is an attempt to end his own life.

We are here to find more of his online friends as we are at other places we know he visits. We don't know all of you, but hope you will join us this evening for a candlelight vigil for him. Please join the support page we have set up for him here at http://www.gayboystube.com/user/friendsofbilly

From there, you can access the external blog where we are posting updates to family and friends near and far. You are welcome to join there and can create a Google account to do so with your current email address.

At 9:00 p.m. we invite you to light a candle and watch/listen/sing to one of his favorite videos, a concert he wanted to go to this year but cancelled due to the Olympics in London.

Thank you for keeping Billy in your thoughts and if a person of faith, your prayers also. We thank God he is still here. Now, we intend to bring him back, all the way and hopefully more.

I prayed for him yesterday when i took Communion in my Parish Church..here in Windermere Cumbria.. part of the English Lake District...it looks like GOD heard me!! i wish him a speedy recovery and back on GBT site soon. I have msgd him and e-mailed him for quite some time now and he is a swell guy

Chris just called again. Billy's care team has been in for a first look and are absolutely ecstatic. He will have a day full of tests, possibly continuing tomorrow. When all checked out, he will be transferred to another department for counseling and recovery, first a minimum 3 days and then as doctors order or he may request. According to Chris, he has eaten 2 full breakfast trays, starting on a third and drank close to a gallon of milk. Before the team arrived they had a tearful discussion but Billy has been told of the good friends from many places in the "RW" and "VW" who care about him and it cheered him up quite a bit. He is now talking a mile a minute and Chris said he's just letting him roll because to him it is the sweetest sound he has ever heard. Chris will be coming back to the house when the tests start and post more. Thanks so much to all from all of us!

Billy awoke at about 5:15 am EDT this morning. He is responsive to touch head-to-toes, speaking, stood up for half a minute. Still weak and a bit weepy but managed to crack him up with a little joke. It's just good to see him move but he really looks to be OK. Thank you guys for your love and support! More on the blog when his care team arrives and give me more info from the exam.

billy talked bout u often chris i keep praying 4 a strong recovery billy is a special friend 2 me every time we would talk seem like we just hav more an more in comon he always made me feel good and has the best outlook of any1 i no i am blessed just 2 no some 1 so special a tru friend love him like a lil brother even when he closed all his accounts we still chatted by email he did not want 2 loose touch his work is far from done god will send him back 2 us when billy is ready huggs pj
