I am an older man who happens to have an extremely high intelligent quotient, (IQ). When others find this out they tend to run which leaves me very lonely. I hate being like this. I'm just a normal person who likes the things that you like . I'm looking for a guy who says he's 18 and wants to be friends. He must be very thin and if he wants to can ask me any question he wants too. I am easy going and laid back, love science fiction, horror, and any movie I can learn anything from. A person should learn something everyday, it's not hard to do.
I live very near Lake Michigan around Diversy Harbor. So, let me know, if your ever passing by

hello. maybe you aspie like me. i am 20, do not get all nasty bout age like some but honest to say i want life mate me own age. dont mean we cant be friends and see my page cos i write about it. but serious, i have social issues cos of aspergers but you can work on that with others. dont judge by how i write here either. i have high iq too just lazy typin cos relaxin and come from brit/irish expatriot parents so i have mix of them plus boston accent. anyways, you must know about asd and its not like a label of shame at all. neither is gettin labeled 'genius' and i have prof pals at harvard but cant even look at a real guy let alone ask him if he want to go to a film. just think about it and dont suffer alone cos i am on the planet altho times i feel its the wrong one and thats why aspie/autie website called http://www.wrongplanet.net ~hugs from billy

Yeaah well guys, this is the whereabouts in an online community....it is indeed hard work to get the feeling about what is going on caus every user has his own life experience and loves to express his fascination no matter the age. The main thing is that the admin Nick is trying hard to transmit a part of everybodys personality (only if it is a part of you or not) but pls keep in mind that this is a task (WorldWide) which he takes in his only resposibility.....for me....... he is the QUEEN of GBT.....(°_^)

you say " when others find this out" ... they won't find out unless you fee the need to tell them for the sake of your own ego presumably..people who are very intelligent can normally pitch their conversations at the right level for the other party.

I took viadzark's advise and looked at your profile. Being lonely is a terrible thing for anyone - all ages.

No offense, but you claim to have a high IQ, but you obviously do not have a working understanding of proper grammar. I mean, of course, you don't have the proper form of your. What you are looking for is the contraction of you and are, which would be you're. I don't mean any disrespect. I'm not judging; I'm just pointing out a fact. I understand it may have been an oversight, but I feel the need to point this out when somebody is boasting about being smart. Anyway, that is my rant for the night.
