Bath Houses?

Does anyone ever go to gay Bath houses? In my area they are popular with the gay community. I'm thinking about going to one but would love some input. Like what is common etiquette? How to say yes and no? Any other pointers will help a lot. thanks.

when the aids problem came front and center in the early 80's i believe such places became tabboo. i'm sure there are some around now. they never appealed to me.

Being Bi, these are sometimes a good spot for guys like me to hook up.

Here in Australia most states have at least one, Sydney has a heap and so does Melbourne.

Other customers can vary in age and looks from young to old, fit to fat. All you have to do is be yourself, and just say no if you're not interested. A wink or a nod can show you're interested, or follow them and if they see you they may stop outside a room.

Most have rooms, glory holes, saunas (wet or dry) a couple have pools and/or spa's.

I would say that if you haven't been to one don't go alone the first time, go with a friend.
Remember you can always say "NO" and walk away if worse comes to worse you can always leave.
My experience with the ones in Denver were almost always good. don't think just because your there you have to have sex. I'm sure that I had left with no sex as many times as I had sex.

i don't think we have these in the UK..maybe some private clubs have turkish baths..prity much the same..but not been to any

They can be cool. I have went a couple of times to the the one in New Orleans, LA. You get a towel and have your own room. After you get naked and put your towel on, you just walk around. You don't have to have sex with anyone if you don't want to. You can just watch people have sex and jack-off. You can also use the steam room, hot tub, etc. I had a good time when I went.
