if there was one event or thing in the whole history of the world, what would you change and why? i would stop slavery. i'm mainly thinking of the u.s., but everywhere really. give it a try.

i would make the religins all be a little more accepting of each other. i think a lot of death and suffering could be avoided if thay didnt beleave that people are wrong and must be tortured and killed cause thay think diferent. my god is better than your god, what a load of crap, if he is that much better why dont he come down and kill everybody himself??

There is no doubt that War, no matter which one it is, be it past or present, or who started it, and why, ultimately is the worst single thing man has done to his fellow man. It is never the answer. There are always seemingly good reasons that have rallied people to go to War- but the lack of consensus between humans on how life should be lived, who controls it, be it religion or a government and its leaders, as well as our inability to treat each other fairly and with respect, more often then not, we will have Wars. War is the "thing" that must be eliminated, but it is Hate that is the ultimate thing and event that must removed from man's vocabulary and history. (added: The Tower Of Babel, Genesis 11 1-9, Babylon, related history)

Make Hitlers father wear a condom ........... 50-70 million died in WWII ....Genocide, would never have happened and the concentration camps in Europe would not have wiped out so many people, regardless of their political, or family heritage........ Jews- 5.9 million..... Soviet POW's- 3.3 million...... Non-Jewish Poles- 1.8-2 million...... Romanis ('gypsies')- 220,000- 270,000...... Disabled- 200,000 - 250,000. Homosexuals- 5,000 - 15,000....... Jehovahs Witnesses- 2,500 - 5,000...... and these are just estimates..........

several million people would not have died if there had been no WW1 or WW2 plus 6 million jews would not have been murdered in such atrocious conditions in WW2..all wars are bad religious.. political or otherwise..why can't we all live together in peace and harmony..life is to short to be fighting..think of the poor inocent children suffering in the conflicts it's all wrong!

I don't know, if you changed a event you might think was bad it could cause a even worse outcome. Lets say you killed Hitler as a kid, you might have only postponed WW2 and waiting just another 5-8 years that conflict could have been fought with far more Nuder Weapons than the 2 that where used, and millions more might have dies and larger parts of the planet might not be habitable now.

With out slavery (that the Africans engaged freely in themselves and had for far longer than whites where around) Black people would still be mainly in Africa now, not in the suburbs of many cities, and would have caused other issues as the crops would still need harvesting
