ater several years we were studying completely different subjects at college and we drifted apart a little. We still saw each other though and there were strong feelings there.
I went to study at colege in another city then and we didn't see much of each other at all.
Then one day when I was at home i saw him in the village and asked him back over to mine.
We got talking about old times but he seemed to not want to do anything even though i knew he was feeling horny so I didnt press the matter. Later i went away again and for a few weeks heard nothing from home. then when i returned a couple of months later i found out from another friend that he had thrown himself off the bridge onto the railway to kill himself. None would tell me anything and i always felt that they maybe blamed me for what happened a bit, even though we weren't out I think that people knew his parents did i reckon. It was a week after my birthday when it happened and even if it was years ago, it still feels fresh. Life is too precious to be thrown away, there is no reason good enough, even though sometimes we are confused or deluded by depression or fear and can see no way out.
